National Alliance on Mental Health

Today's event took place in Morrisville, North Carolina and included a 1 mile and 2 mile walk with several community organizations supporting mental health awareness. Secretary of State, Elaine Marshall and the Secretary of the NC Department of Health and Human Services discussed their initiatives to increase access to mental health services in North Carolina.

Youth & Teen Mental Health First Aid Informational Training

This training introduces participants to the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents, builds understanding of the importance of early intervention, and teaches individuals how to help an adolescent in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge.
